You hear a deafening roar of thunder outside your home. You know a hurricane is on its way because of the entire storm alerts on the television news stations. A bunch of thoughts is racing in your mind of food packing and hurricane shutters. Hey, what about your pet there sitting on the couch? Today, I will help guide you step by step of how to protect your four-legged pal during a hurricane emergency!
Though hurricane season only comes 6 months out of a year in the sunshine state, it can be very harmful to the South Florida community. And just like you have your own hurricane emergency kit, you should have one for your dog (or cat) as well. Your buddy’s kit should include all the necessities such as: food, water (enough to last about 5 days), toys, an updated picture, it’s bed, medical records, and the pet’s schedule. Most importantly, your pet should have an identification tag attached to the collar just in case you and your furry friend get separated. Fortunately, that shouldn’t happen because now, all pet stores carry many durable pet crates out there. Look for one that is (of course) durable, comfortable enough for your pet, and has a handle that allows you to carry the crate when evacuating.
If your dog is one of those kinds of dogs that will have a panic attack during a storm, try to comfort it with a fun toy that will keep it company while the hurricane is raging. May I suggest a toy that you can stuff with peanut butter or dog treats? This will keep your dog company by making them try to get the treat out of the toy. If that doesn’t work, hold your dog in your arms and try to comfort them by saying reassuring things like: “It’s alright, don’t be scared” quoted by the Humane Society.
One of the most important tips is to PLAN AHEAD OF TIME. It is not safe to wait until the last minute. Because most evacuation shelters for humans generally don’t allow pets, you should ask animal shelters near your area to help foster your four-legged pal. After, get a list of all the animal shelters in your area and post them in your house. If none of the shelters have space also try having your friends or relatives out of the area to foster your pet, when you need to evacuate to a hurricane shelter. If you and your pet are going to have to stay home during the disaster, it’s better to put it in the crate and bring all the safety kits into a safe room to stay in during the hurricane. Also, you might want to bring a radio to listen for further information of when the hurricane will be over.
When the storm has officially ended, do not let your pet free roam just yet, if your house has been damaged, keep the dog on a leash(or cat close to you) at all times so it won’t get lost. This is because the furry pal might be paranoid and confused since things in the house may have been changed or shifted by hurricane. Try to get your pet to its normal schedule and be patient.

狂風在屋外呼呼價響，你知道風暴即將登陸，因為電視上成天都是颶風的動向消息。你的腦中不斷的想著需要儲備食物及為門窗裝上防風板。嘿，你沒忘了坐在沙發上那隻寵物吧？今天，我就詳細來為您解釋風暴來襲期間如何保護你的四腳寵物！
陽光普照的佛州，雖然每年的颶風季祇有六個月，但對南佛州社區可能造成極大的傷害力。你不是已經為自己準備了颶風緊急用品嗎？同樣的，你也應該為你的寵貓或寵狗在颶風來臨前計劃及準備應付緊急情況。所準備的項目應包括至少五天份的食物，飲水，玩具，最近的照片，寢具，醫療記錄及預防針接種進度表。最重要的是寵物頸上要帶著識別牌，以防走失後易於找到主人。還好，目前市面上的寵物店多有出售很耐用且有手柄的寵物攜帶箱，內部設計也可讓寵物待得很舒適，緊急疏散時就可派上用場。
如果你的狗屬於那種在風暴來臨時會顯得特別驚慌失措型，你可利用有趣的玩具讓牠在猛烈的颶風中保持鎮靜。有些寵物玩具還可裝入花生醬或點心，讓狗的注意力轉到掏那些食物上，你不妨試試看。如果這些招數都不靈，愛護動物協會建議你將狗抱在懷中不斷以“沒關係，不要怕”等語安慰牠。
最重要的建議之一是「提早做準備」，一切都等到最後一分鐘是很危險的事。大多數的疏散避難所都不准帶寵物。你可先查詢住家附近的動物收容所能否讓你寄養寵物，並把收容所的資料列出並貼在家中。若在颶風期間動物收容所已客滿時，可詢問住在颶風外圍的親友當你必需疏散到避難所時，可否代照顧你的寵物。如果你決定颶風來襲時將與寵物一起守在家中，你要將寵物關在箱內，連同必需品安置在一最安全的房間。你必須隨身攜帶並收聽收音機廣播，以便知道颶風何時會過境。  當颶風遠離後，如果家中有任何損壞，勿馬上讓寵物到處走動，將其套上繩鍊之類以免其走失。因為家中擺設可能會因暴風吹襲後有所變位，家中的貓狗可能因而變得驚慌或迷惑。此時儘快讓你寵物的作息恢復正常，對其特別要有耐性。

Friday, May 4 marked the day of the greatest and most definitely largest dog gathering of the year. On that night, thousands of four-legged canines tail wagged their way to the huge entrance of Dolphin Stadium to see the Florida Marlins baseball team against the San Diego Padres at 7:00 pm. There was a huge inflated dog statue at Gate B where booths were located for people who needed to pick up their online-bought tickets. There were also gift bags, dog bowls, mini swimming pools, and a makeshift dog park. This event was called “Bark At the Park With the Florida Marlins!”
This dog-tastic event is basically to help all the dogs in the Humane Society of Greater and Miami and Broward County Humane Society. Part of the proceeds from the event goes to the dogs and cats that’s up for adoption in the humane society, which will eventually benefit them to get adopted. Because of this exciting event, I came with my mom, aunt and, of course, my 1-year old pug Fudge! Right when we entered Gate B, Fudge just immediately wanted to sniff all the doggies! I was so amazed by how many four-leggers there were!
After getting our tickets from the booths, we (mom, aunt, Fudge, me) had to walk a very long stairway. We literally had to catch our breath when we finally reached the top! But it was all worth it when we entered the stadium. The number of people who came was just awe inspiring. My jaws just crashed onto the floor. Fudge just sat there with his tongue sticking out. We caught our own seats and sat there watching the teams warm up. I could see a couple in back of us with a handsome black dog with a gray t-shirt. In front of us was a family with a small white dog. I was so excited!     Fudge happily chewed on his treats while I got acquainted with the doggy atmosphere. Everywhere you turned there were dogs. Almost everyone and everydoggy was rooting for our home team, the Florida Marlins! We shouted encouraging comments and the dogs just barked! The game was very exciting and a real nail-biter. Right when the Marlins made a point. The San Diego Padres came in with a point, as well. When half-time stretch came along, it was dark and most of the dogs calmed down. Then there were some dogs that just won’t quit and I guess really wanted the Marlins to win!
Later in the game, I got really into it. In fact, all the people in the stadium decided to do “the wave”. Where everyone raises his or her arms up in order to make it look like an actual wave. All the way from the west wing to the east wing and vise versa, the wave helped support the team. Too bad Fudge couldn’t do the wave!
The night ended when the Marlins finally beat the Padres by one point! It was definitely a close game and everyone celebrated joyfully by dancing or waving his or her hands in the air! By the end of the day, it was just all about the love for the game.

五月四日可以說是今年所舉行的愛狗活動中最空前盛大之日。當晚，只見數千隻狗揮動著尾巴的狗狗與主人浩浩蕩蕩的湧進海豚體育館的大門口，準備觀賞佛州馬林魚與聖地牙哥教士兩職業棒球隊7點鐘的賽事。在B入口處有一巨形吹氣狗模型，一旁還設有許多攤位，除了有讓上網購票者領取入場券的攤位外，其他攤位則展售與狗有關的禮品、缽、小型游泳池及一臨時公園。當天的活動趣稱為“與愛犬觀賞馬林隊賽球！”
帶狗觀球活動的目的是幫助大邁阿密及包和縣的保護動物協會籌款。當晚收入的部份盈餘將捐助做為協會待領養的貓、狗開支之用，期盼牠們早日找到領養家庭。由於這是個令人振奮的活動，我隨著媽媽、阿姨、當然還帶著我1歲大的巴哥犬「華吉」到場。我們進入指定的B入口時，華吉馬上跑去與其他在現場的狗聞嗅互動！看到來了這麼多狗，我真是太驚訝了！
我們在攤位上領到入場券後，我們一夥(媽媽、阿姨、華吉、我)必須走一段很長的坡路到體育館近頂端的位置，我們抵達時幾乎是上氣不接下氣，走進館內頓時覺得一切的辛苦都是值得的。見到現場萬頭躦動我的心情也激動起來，我四處張望驚喜得合不攏嘴，華吉則坐在地上直伸舌頭。接著我們坐到位子上欣賞馬林隊球員在場內做賽前暖身練習。我見到坐在後排的一對夫婦帶著一隻俊俏並穿著灰色T-恤的黑色狗，前座則是帶著小白狗的一家人。當時的氣氛讓我感到興奮莫名。
我開始打量座位附近人、狗鼎盛的情況，華吉則在一旁愉快的嚼著零食。放眼望去到處都是狗。幾乎所有的人與狗都是為地主隊加油。球迷不斷對著場上的球員大聲鼓勵，狗狗們則以吠聲回敬！比賽過程緊張、激烈，馬林隊若得一分，教士隊在下場就奪回一分，如此你來我往。到了中場休息時段天氣已晦暗，大多數的狗也安靜下來，少數幾隻仍吠聲不斷，大概是很希望馬林隊能贏球吧！
球賽近尾聲時，我的情緒也更進入高潮了。那時，全場觀眾開始掀起“人浪”行動。有人帶頭開始高舉雙手，口中發出吼聲，整個圓形觀眾席大家輪流舉手，上下直排由西區開始輪至東區，再回頭重覆，遠望就如洶湧人浪，如此為地主隊加油。可惜華吉無法跟著做！
終場馬林魚以5比4險勝教士隊！賽事結束時球迷們在座位原地或高興跳躍或高舉雙手慶祝。最後群眾帶著一份對球賽依依不捨之心逐漸散去。

巴哥犬(Pug)品種優良，小小身軀卻有海闊天空之胸。他們會惹你發笑、聰明、喜歡嬉戲、感情豐富，還會經常做出讓你驚訝的事！遺憾的是，很多人對這多重「狗」格的動物並不了解，於是慈善巴哥援救會(CPR)乃應運而生！
CPR以協助巴哥犬為已任；他們經常到當地的動物避難所為由街頭撿回或被狗主因無力飼養而拋棄的巴哥犬伸出援手。巴哥被虐待的情形倒很少見，經常見到被棄巴哥犬情況包括太陽燒傷，外傷，瞎眼，跛腳等等；在經過CPR悉心照顧不久後，它們就變成人類的最佳夥伴了。
巴哥犬屬短頭類，臉鼻扁平，因而造成心臟非常敏感；大多數的動物避難所沒有冷氣設備，因此對巴哥犬非常不適，這也是CPR成立的原因之一。CPR不將巴哥犬集中在一個地方，而是採取臨時寄養制度。有心人士可暫時照顧等待認養的巴哥，直到找到領養的家庭為止；也讓有心想幫助的人不必付長期的責任。
CPR任重道遠，對這大家庭的小小成員全心付出。到CPR領養巴哥犬之前，你必須填寫申請書；除了一般的名字、電話、住址等等資料，你還要回答一些譬如“家中有幾位大人、小孩？”“想領養巴哥犬的原因？”“家中還有其他寵物嗎？”等問題。
如果你在眾多申請人中雀屏中選，八九不離十你應該是個好主人。在申請書處理過程當中，CPR代表人員還會到領養人家中查看環境是否對巴哥犬的安全無虞，如脫落的電線等情況。當一切都滿意後，你也可準備與你夢寐的寵物相見了。下次他們再來時就帶著你的巴哥犬，再問過一些問題，簽下合約，付領養費後，你與你的巴哥就「從此以後過著快樂的日子」。
我如何能幫助巴哥犬？
CPR經常需要大眾的援手。你可以捐款以用來照顧巴哥犬，可捐贈睡墊，拉車(新、舊不拘)，栓鍊(新、舊不拘)，訓練大、小便用墊等等。捐贈地點在Compassionate Pug Rescue (CPR) 20629 NE 7th Ct. Miami, FL 33179.
你也可當臨時寄養家庭或義工。CPR目前就在為幾隻巴哥犬尋找寄養家庭，如果你想幫忙照顧巴哥犬，這正是好機會。如果選擇當義工，可到寄養家庭帶狗去獸醫處看診或其他可幫忙的事情。不管是任何方面的協助，你已為一隻巴哥犬付出心力了。
如何讓新來的巴哥犬過得更安心？
- 在新狗到前先做周全準備包括；食物，飲水，大、
小便訓練用墊，項圈、栓鍊，拖車，睡墊，小狗安全柵門，梳洗用具及最重要的-玩具等！
- 讓新來的巴哥犬在新家到處走動認識環境！
- 不要在新狗周遭有太大的騷動以免它受驚嚇。
- 當它累時讓它在你膝上休息，以降低其緊張心情。

Pugs are wonderful dogs. They are big dogs in small packages. They’re funny, smart, playful, loving, and ALWAYS full of surprises! Though sadly, many people take these multi-personality dogs for granted. This is why Compassionate Pug Rescue (CPR) is here!
Compassionate pug rescue is a group that specifically focuses on pugs. They usually get their help from local animal shelters who find pugs in the streets, or from owners who just can’t afford taking care of a dog. That’s usually what happens. There are rare cases where pugs have been abused. When pugs arrive, they are burned, scarred, blind, unable to walk, etc. But when CPR has done their job, they end up being perfect companions for different households!
Pugs are Brachycephalic. This means they have pushed in faces. Therefore, this causes sensitivity to heat. This is why they are unable to stay in most animal shelters since they don’t have air conditioning in the dog areas. This is one of the reasons why there is compassionate pug rescue. Instead of keeping all pugs in one huge area, they have foster care. People can take care of a pug until they are adopted permanently. This also allows someone to care for a pet without having to commit fully.
CPR is not just playing around. They are fully committed to their little members of this huge family! If you want to adopt a pug from CPR, you would first have to sign an application that will ask the usual general questions like name, phone, address, etc. There are also questions like: “How many adults and children are there in your house?” “Why do you want to adopt a pug?”“Are there any other pets in your household?” etc.    If you do get chosen out of all the others, you are probably the right owner! After the application process, CPR representatives will make a trip to your house to look around for any electrical wires the pug can reach, and any other threats in the house. Finally, when your house passes the test. You are ready to meet the pug of your dreams! They come to your house once again, but this time with the pug, they interview you, sign the contract, you pay the adoption fee, and you (and your pug) are off to a happier life!
How can I help?
Compassionate Pug Rescue always need assistance from the community. You can donate any amount of money that can help the care for the pugs. Things that they always need though are dog beds, harnesses (new or used), dog leashes (new or used), and potty training pads. Fostering and volunteering are also some good ideas to get involved! Right now, CPR really need some help in foster care for some of the pugs. If you would like to help care for a pug, then this is the right duty for you! If you become a volunteer, you get to drive pugs from vets to the foster homes, or any place needed. Whichever you choose, you are doing a good deed in helping another pug!
Tips for how help make your new pug feel comfortable
- Always buy the essentials before adding the new pug to your home. Essentials include: Food, water, training pads, collar, leash, harness, bedding, puppy gates, grooming tools, and most of all
- TOYS! -Let your new pug explore its new surroundings!
-Don’t have everyone be too excited and surround the pug, it might scare him/her.
-To make it feel less stressed, cuddle your pug and maybe let it rest on your lap if it’s exhausted.

Sunday, February 18,2007  at Hollywood’s T.Y Park was the date of South Florida’s annual “pug picnic”! This event was constructed by the Pug Club of South Florida. Hundreds of pug lovers from Florida came to this wonderful picnic! There were games like pug Olympics, fashion contests, pug races, and a“kissing contest”! The picnic was from 11:00 am all the way to 2:00pm.
Vendors were selling pug items such as: Pug shirts, pug hats, pug baskets, pug posters. Char Hut was also there to share their tasty burger creations for only a small price of $4.
Everywhere you go on the park ground, you’ll see pugs dressed up for the fashion contest. “We had a great time doing the pug Olympics!” said one pug lover. I was also dressed up with my pug, Fudge! And I’m happy to say that we won best look-a-like! We(Fudge and I) had a great time interact with other fellow pug maniacs and their pugs, and taking pictures of all the cute costumes the pugs were wearing. The different categories for the pug fashion contest included: Best Mardi-gras costume, Best handmade costume, best store-bought costume, and best look-a-like between owner and pug. Other contest included: Oldest pug, heaviest pug, longest distance to drive there, and the famous kissing contest! As you can see, there’s a lot to do for you and your pug.
I got to speak with the winner of the best Mardi-gras costume.“This costume was handmade and we’re happy everyone liked it, she said. Her pug, Puglsey, came out with a king crown, robe and was riding on a radio flyer wagon decorated with a purple top and Mardi-gras beads with masks, it was topped off with Puglsey patiently sitting on a tiny red chair! Pugsley also won oldest pug of 14 years and best overall!!!
Fudge and I won look-a-like title. We were wearing a Chinese style costume to celebrate Chinese New Year.  Other contestants included a hippie pug, an army pug, a pug with a jean jacket and bandanna with sunglasses! Now that’s what I call a tough competition!
The heaviest pug was 37 pounds. And one person drove from Orlando to get to the picnic! The pug Olympics was one tough cookie for the public to master. Most pugs (including Fudge) rather wanted to have some treats than to go through a tunnel or walk on a sea saw! But I have to admit; the people who signed up showed to be really good with their pugs.
I came to the picnic with my fellow members of the Miami Dade Pug Meetup Group. They meet once every month at Waggle Brothers Pet Resort and Spa. The organizer is Jean Mark and his 2-year old male pug, Sidd! Sidd and Fudge had a great time sniffing each other. There was also a pet photographer there. When I passed by, I saw him taking a picture of a pug that was facing the Char Hut Burger area rather than facing the camera! Near the end of the day was the lucky draw. I placed 5 tickets on one basket to have a better chance of winning. Turns out, I won a pug basket that included, pug shirt, pug doll, pug stickers, and a pug puzzle!
At the end of the day, the picnic was all about the love of this wonderful clown of a breed, the pug. I enjoyed every second of this experience. The food, the laughs, and the costumes. As the clock strikes 2:00, it ended another successful pug picnic. I’m sure, the Pug Club of South Florida will think up another fun picnic next year for all pug lovers alike to enjoy. And it will be “Pug-tastic”!

2月18日星期日是南佛州一年一度的“巴哥犬野餐大會”！來自佛州各地的數百位巴哥犬迷出席了此由南佛州巴哥犬俱樂部主辦的盛會。活動內容包括巴哥犬奧林匹克大賽，巴哥犬服裝比賽，巴哥賽跑以及“接吻比賽”！野餐會在好萊塢(包和縣)的T.Y.公園舉行，時間由上午11時開始直至下午2時才結束。
現場有許多攤位展售有關產品如：巴哥犬T-恤，巴哥犬帽子，巴哥犬禮盒，巴哥犬海報等；Char Hut(快餐)連鎖店在現場出售每份4元美味可口的現烤漢堡餐。
在公園現場到處可見擬參加服裝比賽打扮入時的巴哥犬。一位帶著愛犬出席的主人說“我們參加奧林匹克大賽項目，玩得好高興！”我自己與我的愛犬「華吉」也雙雙盛裝出席！我很高興我們獲得最相似比賽組冠軍。我們(華吉與我)與其他的巴哥犬狂熱主人及其寵狗相互溝通的很愉快，大家也對穿著可愛服裝的狗兒們不斷拍照留念。服裝比賽部份包括：最佳嘉年華狂歡服裝，最佳手工縫製服裝，最佳成衣服裝及寵狗與主人最相似等四組。其他還有年齡最長巴哥，最重巴哥，來自最遠地以及有名的接吻等比賽項目。由此可見你與你的巴哥犬有好多的節目可參與。
最佳嘉年華狂歡服裝冠軍獎的主人告訴我說“服裝是手工縫製的，很高興大家都很喜歡”。她的巴哥犬「帕西」頭帶皇冠，身著皇袍，以高度的耐性靜坐在一小紅椅上；再由一紫色系列佈置的四輪平台拖車裝飾以嘉年華珠鍊及面具拖拉著。「帕西」也以14歲高齡贏得最年長獎以及總冠軍獎。
華吉與我獲得最相似組冠軍，其他同組參賽者包括嘻皮、軍裝等主題，還有一組以牛仔布裝榜上頭巾再戴上太陽眼鏡打扮等！我們則各穿上中國式服裝來慶祝中國新年。這可是一場競爭激烈的比賽哦。
獲得最重巴哥犬獎的成績為37磅。有一人遠自奧蘭多開車來參加此午餐會。一般來說奧林匹克大賽是個很艱難的挑戰，大多數的巴哥犬(包括我的華吉在內)都寧可享受美味狗食而不願過長隧道或走蹺蹺板！不過老實說，報名參加這項比賽的主人對應付他們的巴哥犬的確是很有一套的。
當天我是夥同邁阿密-戴德縣巴哥犬聚會團的團員一同來參加的。我們每月在「搖尾兄弟寵物渡假及健身中心」聚會一次。主辦人是祥‧馬克與他兩歲的公巴哥犬「席德」！每當席德與華吉見面時牠們都高興得彼此以鼻子互相打招呼一齊玩得不亦樂乎。我在現場見到一位專照寵物的攝影師，當我經過時，看到他在照一隻不是對著相機而是望著烤漢堡的巴哥犬。活動結束前有抽獎活動，我將我的5張抽獎券全都投注到一禮盒以求較高的或然率。果然，我抽中了喜愛的禮盒，內有巴哥T-恤，巴哥玩偶，巴哥貼紙及巴哥拼板！
總之，野餐會活動是為了表現對巴哥犬這個絕妙的品種而舉辦。不管是午餐也好，一些令你開懷大笑的事情以及奇裝異服，每一刻對我來說都是美好的經驗。當時間指向下午2點時，野餐會也圓滿結束。我相信南佛州巴哥犬俱樂部明年會再為所有的巴哥犬狂熱友計畫另一個熱鬧的野餐會。藉時將會又是個“歡樂巴哥”會。

Hey all you dog lovers out there! It’s PugDude again and I’m back with another exciting edition of the Dog News. Today I will be informing all you dog owners out there of new contemporary dog toys, fashion, and gadgets , three of the most important things on keeping your furry friend very happy (aside from food and play time of course). It’s always nice to spoil your baby sometimes! As you all know, playtime is key in spending quality time with your pup so he/she doesn’t grow to be a people hater.
Though there are a lot of cool dog toys out there, there are just some that really catch you eye, and those are what I will be showing you today! Also, fashion, is a nice way to use as Halloween costumes, Christmas costumes, or for any holiday really. I will show you some costumes that are both affordable, and so eye catching. Nowadays, a lot of dog owners want to make their living with a four legged pal to be an easier environment. That’s where new doggy gadgets come in, so let’s get started!
Toys
Some of today’s dog toys include a far more variety compared to 10 or 20 years ago. There are fat ones, tall ones, short ones, skinny ones, etc.! There is just so much for you to choose from. But how do you know that you (and your pup) are getting your money’s worth? You can always go to your trustworthy pet stores such as Petsmart, Petco, or Pet Supermarket. But today, we’ll talk about Petsmart. For one start, you definitely cannot go wrong with the Loofa Plush Toys – or what most people call it, BoBo. It is a long, straight toy with a head and face of a dog. It is soft, comfortable, and plush. That’s what Fudge likes about it. You may have noticed this toy in the Petsmart commercials. BoBo comes in so many varieties. It comes in the soft yellow, then you have baby blue, lavender, red, and green. Also, on special holidays, Loofa (the company) will design special BoBo’s for that holiday for a limited amount of time. For example, they had the July 4th BoBo, Halloween BoBo, St.Patrick’s Day BoBo, and a Christmas BoBo. They also have a special kind of BoBo, where unlike the common straight plush one, it is a plush slinky. The price for this dogsome toy ranges from $5.99 to $7.99, depending on the size. The 12 in. is $5.99 and the 18inch is $7.99. An awesome price for such a cool toy. Puppy Teething Keys – Another nice dog toy. These are a good substitute for the shoes that your pup’s been gnawing on since the day he/she joined your household. The hoop the different keys are attached to is yellow. The three keys are blue, red, and yellow. It’s strong, rubber material is durable enough to last against any tough chewer (adult or puppy). Though it may not be too fancy, it definitely will last you a lifetime! The price tag on this key-tastic toy is $6.99. Tuff flavored Tennis Balls – Finally, a toy that will help get your doggy active. These may look like your average tennis balls, but instead of tasting like who knows what, it is flavored. Peanut butter flavored is most popular, but there are also extra flavors like beef, Vanilla, Chocolate or Mint. They come in packs of two, and are only $3.99. Definitely a great price. These will help get your couch potato off the sofa and out to the parks playing catch! Though be warned, as nice as they are, if your pup is a heavy chewer, it might break the product, so be careful as to supervise him/her during play time.
Fashion
A lot of people nowadays want to dress their pup to impress! That is the reason why there are so many pet fashion boutiques opening. And like fashion boutiques for people, dog boutiques can also be quite expensive. Though there are some hidden gems out there on the internet and shops that can dress your furry pal and not charge you a fortune! For one example, past “Halloween” there was this “hot dog” costume. The hot diggity dog costume are in size of small, medium, or large. It comes with the full costume of hotdog buns, choice of ketchup or mustard costume. And here’s the best part, depending on the size, it ranges from 14 to 18 dollars. A small price to pay when you put that on your pup. If stars and planets is what’s on your mind, then this is the one! An astronaut pet costume! This cool space tech costume is white and has silver linings around it along with a funny official tag to make everything very nice. What’s so nice about this is that you can find this along with some other great, affordable costume just at your local Target store! The price tag on this baby is only $9.99. Sorry all you Labradors or big pups out there, this only comes in a small size.
Gadgets
Now that us humans are in the time of information, and always thinking of new ways of heading into the future, we always want to invent new things and discover new ideas. That’s when different gadgets come in. They help make our lives easier such as cell phones, dish washing machines, portable Internet receivers. This is the same for the dog world. There our just so many cool gadgets out there for your pup. Let’s check them out! Doggles – sunglasses made for your four-legged friend. It is a nice gadget that doubles a fashion accessory. It’s tough lens can withstand almost any outdoor harm such as rocks or sand getting into your pup’s eyes. It can also block your dog from harmful UV rays. It comes in a large plethora of frame colors such as black, baby pink, gold, blue, red, silver, and designs. ATV stroller – This gadget is a travel gadget, made for those elderly dogs who are getting to tired to walk or maybe made for little kittens or puppies who don’t know how to walk yet. The ATV Dog stroller is a dog stroller that can withstand any weather. It has a mesh cover, which zips and unzips to place your dog. The mesh helps block out flies or unwanted pests into your doggies portable haven. The mesh also is waterproof. The stroller’s three wheels are tough and can last on any terrain, hence the name, ATV (all terrain vehicle). It also includes a parent tray on the top which holds water bottles, or keys. It also has a tiny door for your dog, which opens and closes. Now, since it is elevated, you can get a 360 degree view with your pup so you wont have to jump into the bath tub like most dog owners do, or have to stretch their arms to great lengths.
